Michelle (Wei Ling) Chan
On the evening of Monday May 7th 2007, Michelle Chan passed away after losing a long fight with a mystery illness. Michelle was a talented student, a dedicated worker, and an important member of our lab. Her energy and enthusiasm for science was inspiring, and her contributions to our studies will not be easily forgotten. We will sorely miss Michelle, not only because of the fine work she did in our lab, but because her kind and gentle nature made everyone who knew her a happier person. We are all deeply saddened by her death.
The entire Grimmond lab extends its heartfelt condolences to her husband, Wilson, and to the rest of her family for their tragic loss. The world is surely a poorer place without her presence.
